In 2011 the team finished third.
Christian Educational Consortium has approximatly 400 homeschooled children from grades 6-12 who take advanced classes at the consortium.Â Team members must take at least two courses at CEC during the season and maintain a grade of â€œCâ€ in both courses as well as continue their homeschool studies to remain eligible.
The team finished the season with a record of 12 wins and 7 losses against Christian schools, clubs and Indiana public schools.
The team is coached by Dennis Brooks, who is assisted by Chad Holder, Dylan Shepard and Billy Ward.Â Mr. Brooks has a four-year career record of 43-27-2.
The CEC Cougars opened play at the 2012 national championships with a 3-0 win over the Madison (Wisconsin) Tigers.Â Their second game was a 1-0 win over the Southside Indianapolis Thunder.Â CEC defeated the Mid-Michigan Momentum 5-2 in the semi-finals.Â The Cougars lost in the championship game to the Chicago Crossroads Crusaders by a score of 1-2.
