Louisville Ballet Hosts “Raise the Barre” Fundraiser: An Unforgettable Night of Dance, Music, and Community

Louisville Ballet

Get ready to dance the night away at Louisville Ballet’s Raise the Barre, the ultimate dance party fundraiser dedicated to elevating the salaries of our talented Company Artists. Join us on Friday, October 18, 2024, from 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. at the Kentucky Opera Center for a night of celebration, creativity, and community support!

As the highlight of the evening, attendees will enjoy an exclusive sneak peek of 502, a world-premiere ballet choreographed by Ching Ching Wong with a soundtrack by Louisville’s very own hip-hop artist Jack Harlow. This unique mash-up is one of three brand new ballets in the Triple Take production, which premieres Nov. 1-3 at The Brown Theatre and features a collection of never-before-seen classical and contemporary works that will keep you on your toes.

Raise the Barre isn’t just a fundraiser — it’s the best dance party of the year! All proceeds support the talented artists who have come to Louisville from across the country, making our city their home and enriching its cultural tapestry. They live here, work here, play here — all while inspiring us with their diverse talents.

Guests will enjoy an unforgettable evening featuring:

  • A dance party with DJs DND and NOJEFF

  • An open bar + hors d’oeuvres

  • Immersive art experiences by Stivan Widick and Elizabeth Windisch

  • An exciting online silent auction

  • The performance preview of 502
