The Kentucky Sherriffs’ Boys & Girls Ranch opened for its 37th year on Sunday, June 10.
The non-profit organization serves Kentucky’s youth through a summer camping program designed to build their self-esteem, while teaching them respect for themselves, others and law-enforcement professionals.
The program – which is free to campers thanks to the support of Sherriffs, members and contributors – will run throughout the summer, serving both boys and girls, alternately throughout the camp season.
Pictured are campers Aaniya Sloan, La’Niya Richardson, Imjarie Richardson, Nyla Richards, Jaliah Ransom, Cherrish Petty, Dakota O’Bannon, Latonia Nelson, Faith Nelson, Corinne Miranda, Shanice Majors, Ja’Mya Huguley, Ty Jahnae Dale, Mye’Cia Bright, Dasharay Bene’, Damethza Bene’ and Daniya Brown.
