Third Thursday After-Work Party at 60 West Bistro & Martini Bar

The Voice-Tribune celebrated “Louisville’s Largest Birthday Party” with the American Cancer Society (ACS) at The Voice-Tribune’s Third Thursday After-Work Party held March 21 at 60 West Bistro & Martini Bar in St. Matthews.

Presented by Manpower Group, the event also served as a kick-off to ACS’s annual Relay for Life of Jefferson County, set for May 31 from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., June 1, at Waggener Traditional High School. Relay for Life is an opportunity to raise awareness and money to help fuel the world’s fight against cancer. It includes a full day of ceremonies and participant-driven events honoring cancer survivors and remembering loved ones lost. For more information, visit

During Third Thursday, 60 West offered a delectable array of small bites from the kitchen and a cocktail menu featuring UV Vodka, along with the debut of UV’s newest flavored martinis for only $5. In honor of ACS’s mission to create a world with less cancer and more birthdays, cake was served to attendees who later danced the night away to the music of DJ Mikus. Dunkin’ Donuts also provided delicious donut-hole cake pops, covered in sprinkles.

One lucky Third Thursday guest received a real rose brooch from Clater Jewelers, while another walked away with two tickets to The Julep Ball for the dance-only portion of the Derby Eve event coming to the KFC Yum! Center.
