Dessert Delights: Girl Scout Cookies Take Center Stage

Last week, local chefs competed at Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana Desserts First, an annual event that pits culinary experts against one other in a contest to create best original hors d’oeuvre and dessert crafted with a much-loved ingredient: Girl Scout cookies.

Comfy Cow won the Golden Whisk Award with a dessert called Holy Samoa, Batman.

The Golden Grater Award, which is awarded to the maker of the best appetizer, went to Blu Italian Grill for a superb Jumbo Lump Crabcake.

Recipes for both are below.
