Bert is a gorgeous fawn and charcoal-colored one-year-old male Chihuahua. When he was turned in to the Kentucky Humane Society, he was so scared of people no one could touch him. He settled into a quiet office space, and after a few days of being cared for without touch, he learned to begin to trust at least one person. Every day he made a little progress and has decided he just loves to be touched and loved! Bert has been reliving his puppy days and has strong puppy behaviors. He loves his toys and playing fetch with a special ball. While he prefers to go outside to the potty, he will still go in the office. He is full of love and is happy he got a second chance! To learn more about Bert, visit him at the Kentucky Humane Society’s Main Campus at 241 Steedly Drive or call 502.366.3355.
