What does fashion mean to you?

It means everything. It’s the way of life. It’s how you express yourself. It’s weird because fashion is in everything so it’s like if you look good, you feel good. It has a lot to do with your psychological (state). The way you carry yourself. It’s really a whole lot more than just the aesthetic of it.

How do you describe your style?

My style is classic. Classic is my go-to but I love to mix it with urban, street pieces. Like right now I have on a suit with Chuck Taylor All-Stars. I’ve worn boots with a suit or Jordans and baseball caps with a suit. I’d describe it as urban sophisticate, if you will.

What are your favorite pieces?

I’ve just recently gotten into watches and ties. Those are my latest obsessions but it’s subject to change.

Where is your favorite place to shop?

I love a department store because you can get everything in one. My favorite stores would be Banana Republic or JCrew; they’ve got really good staple pieces. I like to thrift shop as well.

Who is your favorite fashion icon and why?

There are so many. I like classic so I always go to Frank Sinatra and that Rat Pack era, I love that. But I also love Kanye West and I also like cutting-edge designers like McQueen. So it’s more like Ralph Lauren-y, classic. I’m hodge podgy; I’m everywhere.

Fashion is an expression of yourself, it’s an extension of who you are. How you dress is who you are. How you dress is how you present yourself, it’s the way people perceive you. It’s cliché, but image is really everything.
