What does fashion mean to you?
Fashion is an art. Something that you can make a statement with. You can express your personality and uniqueness.

How do you describe your style?
I think my style is all over the board. I love a trendy ensemble with a classic piece. My own personal style changes with the wind blowing. One day I want an animal print piece, the next I can be looking for that little black dress with pearls. I believe it is important to change and evolve with styles and approach it with open minds.

What are your favorite pieces?
I love accessories. I design headpieces, so anything that goes on your head from glasses to headpieces/hats to earrings are usually something I try not to leave the house without.

Where is your favorite place to shop?

I love to shop in locally-owned stores. Louisville has an amazing selection of local boutiques that you can walk into and you are instantly greeted and assisted by outstanding staff.

Who is your fashion icon and why?
Tough Call! I can’t pin-point one particular fashion icon. I recently (developed an affinity for) Iris Apfel “The Rare Bird,” whom has always been ahead of the time. I love her accessories especially her over-sized black frame glasses. The woman has successfully rocked an orange jumpsuit!

What else do you want people to know about you?
My headpiece line can be found during Derby season at Rodeo Drive of Louisville. I have made and donated several pieces to Hat’s for Hope. The headpieces are designed as an expression and tribute to strong women.
